Although it is almost 10 years old, this picture of red and yellow tulips is still one of my favorites. Through this picture I saw a completely different part of myself that I didn't know existed-I saw an artist. This image was taken at Keukenhof Gardens in Holland when I wanted to take pictures of flowers to show my grandmother back in the US. She saw the pictures from my trip and said "you could sell these"...
If you build it they will come….
I thought it would be so simple. Take great pictures? Check! Listen to my mom who said I could sell my pictures (even though she hadn’t seen them)? Check! Set up a booth at local art festivals? Check! Build a website? Check??? Well that is a work in progress.
Regardless, here I am. Ready to take the next step. Ready to fall. Ready to get up again. Ready to be scared. Ready to confront my fears. Most importantly, I am ready to reach my goals!
Here I am, beginning again. It is time for me to take the first step, again, because this is what I was meant to do. Join me on my journey as I figure out where I want to go, how I am going to get there, and help me reach my goals. But I want you to dream and get everything you want in life too! I want us to reach our goals together! We are going to do this together. One day at a time, one step at a time, we are going to fly!
